Artist Statement:
Corina Lipavsky is a Venezuelan digital artist, researcher, and educator whose work delves into the intersections of art, nature, and technology. Her practice uses electronic media, generative processes, and AI to create instruction-based art that spans printed work, audiovisuals, digital applications, NFTs, and interactive installations. Inspired by the theories of biologists Lynn Margulis and Donna Haraway, along with the speculative narratives of sci-fi writers like Ursula K. Le Guin and Octavia Butler, Lipavsky’s recent work explores “Bio Sci-Fi,” a concept that investigates hybrid life forms, symbiosis, and interspecies communication. Through her art, she opens new dialogues around living systems and the possibilities of co-existence in a tech-driven world.
