Album Art Come to Life in a Surreal Visual Banger

Mould – Wheeze is an animated music video directed by London-based mixed media filmmaker Martyn Thomas, known for merging narrative punch with visual experimentation. Inspired by the band’s own artwork, this piece takes us on a visceral, pulsing journey that distorts and transforms its source material into something entirely new and unsettling.

In just over two minutes, Thomas fuses music, distortion, grotesque rhythm, and design to create a grimy yet addictive fever dream—a sonic hallucination that oscillates between absurdity and catharsis. The result is a powerful tribute to experimental visual storytelling in the music video format.
