Film: Ariane Caron-Lacoste explores in this poetic-documentary short film the injunction of otherness made to women by observing its consequence on her creative process. Through a sound testimonial, she addresses overperformance, domestic overload and service to others.

Par le truchement d’un témoignage sonore, elle aborde la surperformance, la surcharge domestique ainsi que le service à l’autre.
Bio: Ariane Caron-Lacoste and Guillaume Marin form a couple. She is a book editor; he is a video editor. Each in their medium, they do the same job : telling stories. They wanted to know what their respective sensibilities could create when mixed.
Ariane Caron-Lacoste has worked as a poet and a book editor since 2014. She has degrees in Translation, Applied Linguistic and German Studies. She recently published Autofixes (Del Busso éditeur, 2022), a collection of feminist poems. She is now applying her energy to writing and reading.
Guillaume Marin is a film director and video editor since 2003, and a self-proclaimed avid dreamer and a jokester. His favorite sport is to play with perceptions and create illusions. He has worked as visual conceptor for numerous media platforms, advertisement agencies, music videos and experimental films.
