Bio:
I grew up in Singapore with a strict education system that valued math and science over art. Unlike Milly, I enjoyed math class. However, looking back on my rigorous school years, I wish I were more like Milly, who finds creativity and joy in frustrating circumstances. We all have safe spaces that we want to escape to. I was introduced to art in secondary school and fell in love with it. I find creativity and joy in creating art. I love what I do and I’m grateful I can do what I love.
