Bio:

Maxi Reiner (artist name: Maxi Venus), describes herself as an all-round artist. Coming
from the graphic design world, she is now studying art therapy and fine art in Bonn
Germany.
By „all-round“ she means using various forms of expression to let her creativity run free.
By various forms, she doesn’t mean the traditional visual art forms.
Her artistic creation field is much more complex.
Not only did she learn to sing and play instruments.
No, in order to be able to create sounds in a truly artistic way, she had to embrace the
different facets of music. The digital and analogue art of composing and producing.
Music is one art world she lives in.
The other one is the limitless world of media art/ digital art.
This world is, where she feels at home.
Immersing yourself in digital design means,
having technical skills and a constantly growing desire for knowledge. As well as patience
and perseverance.
Once you get the hang of it, you can’t stop exploring this world. Her specialty are the
design programs from Adobe Creative Cloud.
On the one hand, she makes performative video art, on the other performative
Photoshop-Art.
The actual artwork, is created during the editing process. The possibilities of editing are
endless.
What makes her editing art special is the process.
That combines performance, photographic self-portrait and her individual style of editing.
A very intimate experience, a self-portrait can turn into anything in the editing process.
You either get wings or your upper body hangs from a hook.
But somehow,
every time the edited work visualizes the hidden emotions.
She always feels, when a picture is finished.
