Bio: Michael Chernoff is a video artist whose experimental filmmaking who uses past and present technologies to create unique signals and multimedia installations. Themes of presence, identity, landscape, and perception are prevalent in his documentary and dystopic narratives.

The footage used in the making of this film are the documentation of an interactive installation and video archeaological lab that was titled VIDEOSPHERE: You Are Always On A Screen Somewhere…
This Videosphere film explores the dynamic presence of electronic signals, projections, cables, cameras, and screens placed in close proximity to one another. So close, that video signals host the appearance of other video objects and signals. The Videosphere is video which self-surveils. There is no private or hidden observation, just an open circuit where the individuals who activate and observe video are are equally observed by it. Video communicates total observation with a space that is interactive and surveillable in and outside of screens.
