Director: Pepi Rachel Eirew

Bio: Pepi Eirew (@pepiandthecreatures) is a recent grad from CalArts’ Experimental Animation program, and a Disney & Jules Engel Scholar. Pepi has studied Film and Creative Writing as a Visiting Student at Columbia University. She animates strange beings and writes comedic scripts.

Pepi’s animations have been selected for film festivals in Indonesia, Mexico, the UK, the US, the Caribbean, Italy, Russia, Hungary, Spain, Greece and Austria.

“Swaddle” is her CalArts thesis film.
