Director:  Rudy Paganini

Bio: Rudy Paganini (1980) is an Italian musician and new media artist who lives and works in Miami, Florida.
He began his experience with computer art in 2011 by developing forevermidi.com, a hybrid between an art object for the web and a startup devoted to the production of multimedia experiences.
The artist gives his practice a method that with personal meaning he defines as “postmedial”, employing together obsolete and new technologies (from analog video to artificial intelligence and virtual reality), with the aim of creating a fluid space for aesthetic speculations, inherently postmodern, sometimes questioning techno-consumerist habits.
Furthermore, Paganini develops open source programs dedicated to generative and interactive experimentation (“Artware”).
The main objective of his research is to provide the “machine” a margin of creative freedom, through the exploration of glitches and computational errors incidentally produced by the system, or inductively caused through the randomization of parameters, ensuring chance a high incidence.
