Mike Maraden is a filmmaker/visual artist living in Pittsburgh, PA working in the props department for local film and television productions in town. He makes abstract videos with many different objects at hand experimenting with video tools (8-bit feedback, Fisher-Price PXL-2000 cameras, iPhones, found footage, etc.) Lately his focus has been on recording light refraction and making other psychedelic imagery. He’s also the creator of Sync’d, a reoccurring live music and cinema event in Pittsburgh PA that pairs local musicians and filmmakers to create unique cinema experiences.
