founded 2023

Welcome to the Chroma Art Film Festival — a place where light, cinema, and community converge.

We’re thrilled that you’ve found your way here.

Chroma was born in 2023 out of a simple but powerful vision: to build a vibrant, inclusive, and artist-led platform that celebrates experimental film, new media, and global storytelling. Created by artist and cultural producer Aileen Quintana (Haiiileen) and powered by the nonprofit Rainbow Oasiiis, Chroma is more than a festival — it’s a growing movement rooted in color, curiosity, and creative exchange.

In just our first two years, we’ve witnessed incredible growth:

And we’re just getting started.

In 2025, we’re launching Chroma x Japan, a celebration of Japanese cinema, supported by the US–Japan Foundation. This will include screenings, artist talks, and large-scale public installations. We’re also expanding our travel support for international filmmakers and building sustainable, long-term infrastructure through our cultural endowment with the State of Florida.

But Chroma isn’t just about numbers or headlines. At its core, it’s about connection.

We believe art is a frequency — and that film, especially when presented with care and imagination, can open portals. Whether you’re a filmmaker, a festivalgoer, a student, a funder, or someone stumbling upon this world for the first time, we hope you feel the invitation: to be inspired, to participate, and to belong.

We’re incredibly proud of the artists, volunteers, supporters, and collaborators who make this work possible. Chroma is powered by people who dare to dream in color.

Thank you for being here. We can’t wait to share what’s next.

With light and love,
